For Geoff Cocanower, ministry is all about equipping the Church to live out its calling. On staff since 2013 following his graduation from Bethel College, Geoff provides strategic oversight to our overall student ministries team while directly leading our high school ministry. Guided by Ephesians 4, he empowers teams to build dynamic spaces where students can belong, discover their place with Jesus, and take an active role in Christ’s mission. Driven by a desire to authentically lead others toward a flourishing life, Geoff thrives on real conversations and is always ready to connect with anyone wanting to talk about life, faith, or taking their next step.
Outside of ministry, Geoff and his wife, Tara (married since 2018), love traveling the country and the world with friends and family. Locally, you’ll find him officiating high school sports, behind the mic as a public address announcer, hitting the golf course, or faithfully cheering on the Chicago Bears and Detroit Tigers.
