Worship Arts

Created, Commanded, and Compelled to Worship

Our Worship Arts Ministry is devoted to serving an audience of one: God our Father. We strive to teach biblical principles of worship that glorify the Father, elevate Jesus Christ His Son, and help us listen to the Holy Spirit.

Our teams have the privilege of serving in three different locations: the Worship Center, the Family Life Center (gym), and our North Campus location in Ossian. We believe that we were CREATED to worship, COMMANDED to worship and COMPELLED to worship. Therefore we bring our best offering of worship for the One who offered His best for us.

SERVE WITH US

If you sing, play an instrument, or have experience working with audio/visual technology, we would love to have you on our team!

FAQS

Our team is made up of two main groups: those that serve in the worship band, and those that serve on the tech team.

Worship Band: This group is made up of individuals with a heart for worship who play guitar, bass guitar, piano, keyboard, or drums. It also includes a variety of vocalists who help lead songs and sing harmony.

Tech Team: This team is made up of individuals with a heart for worship who mix audio, run projection/lighting, operate cameras, and serve as producers for our online sermon videos. This team also helps set up, tear down, and assist with special services and gatherings throughout the year.

The time commitment varies based on your availability and the role that you play on the team. Some of our team members serve multiple times per month, while some serve once a month. During a typical week, we hold a rehearsal on Thursday evening, another rehearsal and sound check on Sunday mornings, then serve in every service in our respective venues (3 services in the worship center, 2 services in the FLC and North Campus).

Because we want to bring our best offering to God, previous experience singing or playing an instrument is required. If you are interested in audio/visual technology, previous experience is preferred, but we also offer hands on training for those interested in serving.
