Here at Hope, our Early Childhood Ministry is all about providing for the needs of children ages 2-Kindergarten. Parents will find friendly and helpful volunteers who will make sure kids are involved and engaged in activities that will help them begin learning about who Jesus is.
2’s –Our 2-year-olds receive their first taste of small groups through fun, active Bible teaching, crafts, games, worship and playtime!
3’s- Our 3-year-olds experience fun creative activities that reinforce our weekly Bible teaching. The 3’s class also participates in worship and nostalgic flannel Bible stories.
4’s, 5’s, Kindergarten – In Powerhouse Jr, kids meet for lively worship, Bible dramas, creative teaching, and small group activities. (If your family attends both service hours, your child will experience the lesson and activities in two different ways.)
LiveWires - On Wednesday nights, children ages 3 - Kindergarten enjoy a fun game show called “LiveWires Larry” that keeps them moving and growing in their discovery of who Jesus is. Everything they’ll learn at LiveWires also coordinates with what they are learning on Sunday mornings.
On Wednesday nights, children from both campuses meet together in the Children’s Ministry area at Main Campus.
At our Main Campus, our 2’s class meets in the Nursery area, and our 3’s – Kindergarten classes meet in the Children’s Ministry area.
At our North Campus, our 2s – Kindergarten classes meet in the North Campus Children’s Ministry area.
At HopeKids, we strive to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for your kids. Below are just a few of the measures we take each week to ensure that your children receive the best care possible.
All of our HopeKids volunteers undergo a screening and application process that includes a criminal history background check and a safety training seminar. This process must be completed before serving with children at Hope Church.
Doors to our children’s ministry area are closed and locked for the duration of your child’s stay.
When you drop off your children at HopeKids, we’ll take a few moments to get them checked in. As a part of that process, we’ll make sure both kids and parents receive a tag that will allow us to reunite the right kid with the right parents at the conclusion of the service. With the help of our volunteers, the process will only take a few minutes, and it will help ensure that your kids are safe and secure throughout their stay with us.
