Elementary

Welcome to HopeKids!

As our kids continue to mature, they’re able to move into our ministry to elementary students; a dynamic and engaging environment made specifically for kids in grades 1-4.  Elementary-aged kids participate in grade-based activities according to this weekly schedule:

When & Where
SUNDAY
9:30AM & 11AM

Kids in grades 1-4 experience awesome worship and creative Bible teaching, then divide out into groups for small group activities. (If your family attends both service hours, your child will experience the lesson and activities in two different ways.)

WEDNESDAY
7:00PM

LiveWires – Kids jump into grade-based groups that rotate through a number of stations where they continue to deepen their understanding of Jesus through creative applications of biblical truth.

On Wednesday nights, children from both campuses meet together in the Children’s Ministry area at Main Campus.

Main Campus

At our Main Campus, our elementary students meet in the Children’s Ministry area on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.

North Campus

At our North Campus, our elementary students meet in the North Campus Children’s Ministry area on Sunday mornings.

Special Events
Events & Meetings

Throughout the year, occasional special events and meetings allow our elementary students to connect with others, grow in their faith, and have an awesome time together!  Perhaps the biggest opportunity that comes their way is CAMP BLAST, which happens every summer.  Camp is open to students finishing grades 3, 4, and 5, so be sure to get your child signed up for the best week of the summer when registration begins (usually in May/June each year)!

Safety

At HopeKids, we strive to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for your kids.  Below are just a few of the measures we take each week to ensure that your children receive the best care possible.

All of our HopeKids volunteers undergo a screening and application process that includes a criminal history background check and a safety training seminar. This process must be completed before serving with children at Hope Church.

Doors to our children’s ministry area are closed and locked for the duration of your child’s stay.

When you drop off your children at HopeKids, we’ll take a few moments to get them checked in. As a part of that process, we’ll make sure both kids and parents receive a tag that will allow us to reunite the right kid with the right parents at the conclusion of the service. With the help of our volunteers, the process will only take a few minutes, and it will help ensure that your kids are safe and secure throughout their stay with us.
