Ben joins us for the summer of 2023 as our ministry intern. He’s a sophomore at Taylor University in nearby Upland, IN where he majors in Christian Ministries. Ben grew up just north of us in Fort Wayne, and his family still makes their home there. As Ben began to sense God’s call on his life, he has served with youth ministry through a Youth For Christ after school program for middle and high school students. He also has experience leading worship, teaching Sunday school and interning at a Christian non-profit last summer (A Hope Center). In his free time, Ben enjoys playing guitar, being outside, playing tennis, and hanging out with family and friends.
Ben’s internship experience will be rather different from past Hope Church summer internships. He’ll be serving full-time with ALL of the ministries of Hope Church in order to get a good feel for a wide variety of ministry contexts.
