Ministries – Middle School
Hope’s ministry to middle school students is called “RISE”, and they’re super serious about building great relationships with one another as they all work toward building their relationships with Jesus! RISE serves students in grades six, seven and eight.
Two main meetings each week follow this schedule:
- Sunday 9:45 am – LifeBuilders – This sort-of-like-a-class meeting pulls together students to learn from some great volunteers who enjoy pouring into the lives of young people. Classes are divided in such a way as to maximize the potential of today’s young adults.
- Wednesday 7:00 pm – The RISE midweek meeting is what you might expect when someone says “youth group.” Lots of live music, fun games, solid teaching and a small group interaction keep everything moving for these dynamic young people. During this time of social distancing, we’re unable to meet in person- but that doesn’t mean that we’ve stopped learning together! If you’d like to keep up with our weekly studies, click here to be taken to the spot where you can download this week’s lesson!
These young adults are part of a VERY active group, as RISE is rarely still for long. Outside of the regular weekly meetings, our student ministry keeps students hopping with all sorts of special events… some strictly fun, and some with a more growth-oriented tone. In all of them, though, you’re guaranteed to find carefully chosen adult volunteers who are excited about investing in the lives of teenagers!
